Benefits of Credit Union Membership

  • Credit Unions have members, not customers. Credit unions are member-owned, meaning each person who deposits money in a credit union becomes an owner of the credit union. A member is an owner because their deposit is considered a share of ownership. They are run by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by and from the membership. Each member has a vote in electing Board members and certain Committee members, and can run for election to the Board or Committees.

  • CCSE also has a number of complimentary services for your needs. These include Direct Deposit, VISA Debit Cards, VISA Gift Cards, E-Statements, Phone Banking, Online Banking, and Mobile Money; which allows members to access their accounts via their mobile phone. We are also a part of the ATM Co-Op Network, which allows you to withdraw funds from any Co-Op ATM across the county, surcharge free!
